Distinctive Dining in a relaxed setting.
Since 2010, the Bay Street Bistro has delighted its guests by bringing together fresh local sourced ingredients with traditional Northwest flavors and Italian/ Mediterrean influences . Moreover, at The Bistro, we believe a great dining experience is more than an exquisitely prepared meal. It is also an intimate atmosphere in a quaint location, personal as well as attentive service and great company are some of what separates a delicious dinner from a distinctive dining experience. Dining at the Bistro is less like the stuffy fine dining that is commonplace but more like going to a friend's place that is both a great host and an amazing chef.
The building in historic downtown Port Orchard at 834 Bay Street has over 100 years of charm: sturdy wood posts and beams, rustic plaster walls that have watched boarding houses, hardware stores, and bistros roll past over the years. These days the wall are tastefully painted and are accompanied with mostly local art, while ceiling fans create a soft cooling breeze, a gas fireplace makes it cozy and lovely atmosphere that invites you to sit and enjoy a slow, relaxing dining experience.
The Bay Street Bistro has received many accolades including Best in Western Washington runner-up fine dining category #2 behind the esteemed Canlis . In other publications the restaurant ranked in top in Best Seafood , Best Romantic Spot, Best Steak and Best Italian. Additionally, it is consistently highly rated by it's guests on Yelp, Trip Advisor and Facebook.
